JOYFUL ANGELS

I am not sure where the inspiration for painting angels came from, it just was there from the birth of Once Upon a Dream Gallery, along with the Treasures from the Sea Handcrafts. Between the years of 2011-2015, I painted well over one hundred original joyful angels. It was a delight to see how these paintings were a gift of happiness to those who purchased them, whether it was for themselves or a dear friend.

In the Fall of 2016, almost 9 months into my cancer journey, I created a new choir of angels. These angels, and the words that came with them, were a proclamation to myself that no matter what challenges I faced, I was going to choose to dance.

Dancing in the darkness,
Twirling in the light.
Let hope abound and love prevail
Along the path of Life.
